The Falstaff Hotel & Restaurant Ramsgate

Comfy bed, spacious room, very clean and quiet. Good quality bathroom fixtures,(but see dislikes!) good water pressure in shower, plentiful loo-roll and tea/coffee/biscuits. Very good heavy curtains to block out light from morning sun/streetlight. Use of private terrace (we were in Room 8) great. Being able to park at the rear of the property was a bonus as we were able to forget about the car for the whole of our stay. Marzena and team were very attentive and welcoming. The continental breakfast was tasty and fresh. Will stay here if we re-visit Ramsgate.

The location is a little out of the way of the main town, but on a quiet street with well-preserved historical architecture and interesting little shops. The hotel itself is very attractive - clean, with well-considered decor and original art. The grand guest sitting room was a lovely surprise! We stayed for two nights but would happily have stayed longer.

I I liked the comfort of the bed ..I was very tired 😴. I liked the staff ..very courteous and obliging, also quite prompt considering I booked late . I liked the tea / coffee in room .

The location of the Falstaff is central, yet quiet and relaxed with no disturbances during the night fro. Hotel residents or pub goers. Close to the seafront and also shops and eateries. The building is an old beautiful building with ornate features mixed with modern design and art within. The Falstaff offers dine in options amd also musical events. The local community are friendly and welcoming. The room facilities were simple but sufficient. The bed and bedding were clean, fresh and so comfortable. The continental breakfast was delicious and served with a smile. We have stayed here before and will stay again.

The whole place has bags of character. Very helpful and attentive staff and very interesting and chatty owner. The closing time of the bar downstairs worked really well for us having a 2 year old child - that and the fact it's a quiet street meant she was able to get to sleep no problem in the evenings. We all slept very well. Cozy room and really comfortable bed. Continental breakfast that comes with the room was spot on too. Exceptional location, very close into the harbour.
